The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Taiz was established in 1962. The Chamber has 5600 members and 16 full time employees.


The Governorate Taiz is with a population of 3 million the largest province in Yemen. Taiz is home of one of the largest Industrial Group in Yemen involved in manufacturing and trading a variety of products. In addition, manufacturers of paints, plastics etc. and big trading companies are based in Taiz .
